For the opening weekend Jug, Reed, & Cole met up with the Flinder' Boys and hunted in American Fork Canyon. It was a great time...but with no luck on the hunting side of things. 
The following week Jug and Reed went with Chad and Austin Atkinson out to the "Deep Creeks". This is where they had a Father/Son combined effort in bagging this sweet 2 point buck!!
I think it's safe to say, that Reed was pretty excited about the whole event seeing as how he hasn't stopped grinning, and Jug was very glad to share this experience with his son!!

Congratulations, Reed! That's a terrific first buck and I agree with Chad, you need to make sure you tell everyone that your dad missed and you got him... :)
Too bad the horns have to go up in Cole's room - I'm sure he'll let you come visit anytime.
