Reaping the Harvest!

I think this has been our BEST garden year in 

West Mountain!

Finally....fresh Peaches!!! 

The kids have all been a great help, but of course we have to give most of the credit to our Master Gardner JUG!!!  Even growing peppers when he hates them...for my fresh salsa dreams!!

But this big boy...is all of Mama's doings!  A volunteer Pumpkin Plant totally overtaking our front walkway!

I permit it because we really don't get THAT many visitors...and Halloween is just around the corner!

19 Years Baby!!

 19 Years Ago we came to this Beautiful Place 

to begin our Married Life! 

Lucky for us...the past several anniversaries we have been able to come back to the quaint town of Manti to celebrate! 

We have a few places we LOVE to go!

Best Shakes/Donuts ever!

This year while staying at the cabin we found the BEAUTIFUL Blue Lake after a fun 4 wheeler ride!

(Too bad the battery died before we got there!)

It is so therapeutic to get away together, especially at the end of a busy summer, and take in the beauty of the great outdoors!  

I sure do love this guy...always have and always will!

 So pretty...of course even more spectacular in person!!

We fixed one of our favorite seasonal meals....

BLT with Garden tomatoes and home grown sweet corn!!

Even our Almond M&M's were feeling the love!!

Happy Anniversary Jug...you truly are my best friend and soul mate!

I am so thankful I get to be yours!!

AND...I'm Still the Lucky Winner!

Another Beginning and the First of the Lasts!

Coleman was the first to head out today...

8th Grade for this kid!

He's getting old....but still looking good!

  He was hoping to be starting up at the new Salem Junior High...

but thanks to this...

he is staying one more year at Mount Nebo!

Sorry Coleman...your day will come!! :)

Kaycee's SENIOR year!

Pretty sad really...but she looks like she's a pre-college girl to me!

She's getting to the PRIME of her life really!

Live it up Kaycee...Real Life will slap you before you know it!!

And here's the Mighty Junior...actually about 4 inches taller than he was as a sophomore!!

Wahoo Reed!!  He's anxious to lose the braces...and they will be gone before you know it!  Good luck with that Junior Year...it can be a killer!!

She's back at it...SHHS Girls Soccer

Well...soccer season is well underway...

and Kaycee is back at it!

She did a great job rehabbing her knee and get herself fit and ready for tryouts and her senior soccer season!

It's getting close!

Even though I don't think we are all quite ready...the girls had their "back to school hair cuts" today! I hate to think about it...but it was fun for them to spend some time at the salon!!

We'll be savoring these next few days!!

 We were lucky to get a weekend with Molly!!

 She joined us for the ever exciting
 "SALEM DAYS PARADE"!!

 Kaycee rode her scooter in it with her High School Soccer Team.

Summer Jobs!

 I just wanted to document that Kaycee and Reed DID have summer jobs!!!

Even though I never got a picture of Kaycee in her official Lifeguard garb, she was diligent on the "morning shift...ie: 5:30-9am or 8:30-12:30pm) all summer long!!

And her is our dear Reed...with his "Safety Goggles" on as he headed out for one of his MANY lawn mowing days!  They were both very responsible employees...and earned some extra cash that is bound to come in handy!  Good WORK guys!!

 We had a great time at the 

Flinders Family Reunion this year!

 It was a simple event at Grandpa and Grandma's beautiful backyard, 

with a DELICIOUS Gourmet Pancake Breakfast!!

 We LOVED the company!!

And Coleman took home the prized candy jar guess full of gumballs!!
