Christmas Highlights!!

It really is the
MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF YEAR!!

Especially when school gets out, work shuts down, and basketball goes on moratorium...and we actually get to have our family HOME!!

It is great to see them HAPPY and TOGETHER...
without all the usual distractions!!

Here are a few of the the highlights of the Magical Day:

Food like this...makes any day magical!
Kaycee was not about to let this traditional holiday dinner slip by!

We celebrated Christmas Eve with all the usuals:
Some last minute pickups/deliveries, sledding, steak & seafood dinner, baking of homemade chocolate chip cookies for the big guy, NEW PAJAMAS!!, tracking Santa on NORAD, reading and acting out the nativity, watching Luke 2, reading "Jolley Old Santa Claus", setting out the socks, looking for Rudolph, leaving out the cookies & eggnog (& pepsi), reading "Twas the night before Christmas", and FINALLY...after everyone is nestled in Janey & Abbie's room...LIGHTS OUT!

It really is exhausting...but WONDERFUL!
And the best part:
NOBODY wants to change a THING!

Silky pajamas for the girls, new sweats for the boys!

Matching nightgowns for the babies!
(These little numbers about did me in...but so worth it!)

6 am Wake Up
(By the kids...not the parents)

Evidence that he came...treats gone...and a note left for the family!

Matching Ipods for Max and Ruby...how cute!

Coleman checking out the goods!

Abbie didn't get ONE thing from her list...
but she did get other stuff she never even imagined!!

Janey's long awaited EASY BAKE OVEN!

It is such a fun day...
Good thing it only comes once a year though!!

We are grateful for all that we have to celebrate...
especially each other, our family, our friends, the gospel,
and above all the SAVIOR!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

What precious pictures and even more sentimental memories. Good job on all the sewing!
And what a gorgeous family all dressed up for church. Stylin!
I love that sign you have "to all a good night."

Christmas is the best but I do agree - good thing it only comes once a year!

Loved seeing all those cute kidos and loved seeing that there are nice little plates with the meat cut up in them. That makes me smile.

Miss you guys!
