"100 Day" at Kindergarten

When Kaycee was in Kindergarten and the notes started coming home about "100 Day" I really had no idea what it was all about. Well, now that we have had 5 kids participate I realize that it is a BIG DEAL! Making it through their first 100 days of school is something to CELEBRATE!! As Abbie's teacher puts it, "We have come such a long way. These kids have made so much progress in every aspect of life that is hard to remember what they were like on the first day of school." It is true...they learn so much more and so much faster than I did when I went to kindergarten!! While I was laying on the rug waiting for the milk fairy to come, she is learning how to read and do math! Here is Abbie with her "100 Poster" that included 100 pieces of popcorn...counted out all by herself! Good Job Abbie...I hope the next 100 days of school are just as fun for you!

Abbie-girl, I LOVE the popcorn. (Did your Dad air-pop that for you?) What a cute idea for a poster. And congratulations on all that you are learning this year in Kindergarten. Great job!!!
