Our Final First Day of Pre-School

FINALLY!! Abbie has waited so long for this BIG day to arrive...her first day of Pre-School!
Needless to say there was absolutely no hesitation! She couldn't have got there fast enough! And she was THRILLED with her new "big girl book bag"...."it's just like Janey and Kaycee's, Mom!" I think she told me thanks about 20 times!
She is happy that her cousin Jason will be joining her there, as well as a couple of friends from primary! There are a total of 12 kids in her class, 4 girls and 8 boys! Miss Jill really is a Saint!!
I'm not sure exactly how I feel...a few mixed emotions...but really it's hard NOT to be happy when your child is as excited about something like this as Abbie is! And...who is going to complain about a few extra hours of quiet a week?? I still haven't cleaned that laundry room yet...maybe there is hope! I hope you have a BLAST Abbie! I love you!

Abbie is so darling and as the baby of the family, she's more than ready for this big step. She will love it. You're on it....I thought that you would have these photos up this quickly. Great blogging!!!

Jason loved his first day of school, too. Let us know how that free time goes. We have two more years until Lisa starts to get those half-days.

Wow. What will you do with all of your free time? I am already worried about anxiety attacks.
She looks way too old in those pics. Nice apple... "Teacher, leave me alone. I'm eating." Or was that apple intended for the teacher? ;)

Time just won't slow down, will it? She will love this - and I know you will get use to the quiet time really quick! :)

Abbie looks so cute and happy and so ready for this. You can tell her you were the last one in our family to go to school as well. We can't keep them small for very long.

Abbie looks so grown up! She looks adorable and ready to start another chapter in her little book. My laundry room has not been touched yet...good luck!
