Back to the basics...City League Baseball!

It was an absolutely GORGEOUS sunset, and quite fitting as we watched Coleman's short and sweet city league baseball season come to a close.
Coleman did a great job on the Salem Royals!
It was just what he needed this summer!
A low key, no practicing, 2 game a week team!
And from a parent's perspective...it was HEAVEN!
We have had our fair share of the "accelerated" sports world.
It has it's ups and downs, good things and bad things.
The older the kids get the more we realize,
it really is...and should be simply kept to the playing of...
A GAME.
It's just better that way!
We Love You Coleman!

So true my friend! Less is often more when it comes to sports...Dakota skipped football this year because there were too many other fun things he didn't want to miss out on. Love ya and miss you! We need to plan lunch. My kids start school Monday.

Hmmm, Shelley. Can we remind certain football coaches if the "less is more" idea? I'm thinking they really really REALLY need a little lesson!! Ha!
Let me know when you and Becky can do lunch!!!!
