Ahhh....spring break!! A much needed diversion for our family!! No, we didn't head to a sunny beach or amusement park. We just stayed home and "chilled"...literally!!
But we found ways to keep ourselves entertained:
*We bought a 6 ft MONSTER SACK with our saved Christmas money from the Grandparents.
*We played the Wii...and had a fabulous DANCE OFF!
*We spent time with Cousins.
*We played BASEBALL...of course!
*We watched videos...including Tangled &
Night at the Museum 2...CLASSICS!!
*We rode the horses.
*We shopped for PROM dresses!
*We ate at the BYU Creamery!! YUM!!
*We cleaned and did yard work...for a few minutes!
*We hung out with friends.
But...the highlight of the break had to be our
1st Annual Jacklin Family Home Run Derby!
We have seen reruns on ESPNClassic of these wonderful derbys from the good ole' days. Jug and I love the announcer and the ump who call the contest...you just need to watch one to appreciate it. So we decided to do our own backyard wiffle derby!!
