One of those AWESOME Days!

We have a tradition that when our children turn 8 we take them to Salt Lake City to visit Temple Square. We let them see first hand the headquarters of the church they are choosing to become a member of. It has been a wonderful experience and one that we have all enjoyed participating in!

Poor Janey.
Her 8th Birthday came and went, and so did the following year with no special visit!
We are only 2 days away from her 9th Birthday!
BUT...we did make it to Salt Lake while she was still eight!!
YAY...and some things are definitely worth the wait!

We had to kill some time while Dad was in meetings so we got our toes painted from the fancy nail place!! :)

Then we got lunch at her choice...PURPLE TURTLE!

YUM!!

Then we picked up Dad and were off on our long awaited adventure!

At the top of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building.

The North Visitor's Center

A lovely group photo taken by Jug's Long ARM!! :)

Janey's shot of the Church Office Building and the Fountains
Then on to watch the Joseph Smith Movie.

And a final stop at the Lion House "PIE SHOP" as Janey called it!

Some things are really worth waiting for...

today was one of them!
We Love You Janey!
