One of our most anticipated weekends of the year is going to the cabin during the month of September! The leaves are absolutely spectacular, the temperature is perfect, and the peace and quiet of the canyon is heavenly! We LOVE it! Sadly, this family tradition is getting harder and harder to accomplish with the kids getting older and busier. I felt like I was almost committing a crime getting everyone out of their sporting, church and school responsibilities this year, but... it was worth it! Here are a few photos of our recent trip...where we all enjoyed the diversion from our busy fall schedules!
The Nielson Cabin
Fun with 4-Wheelers!(A special thanks to the Jolley's for helping us be law-abiding citizens...at least with the kids wearing helmets!!)
A fun scrapbooking project.
Hiking and exploring...we could say scouting for deer but Jug thinks our group is a little on the noisy side!
Time to think about NOTHING but each other!
Sacrament Meeting at the Manti 6th ward...
and a field trip to the Manti Temple.
Coleman getting practice with his aim.
Reed getting practice with his aim.
